The very first training school of LITHME received a whopping 120 applicants prior to the deadline on the 3rd of May. After a careful review process, 58 trainees were selected. The Action chair Dave Sayers wants to thank all applicants:
– We were overwhelmed with the quality of applications, and we are delighted to welcome those who were successful. Welcome to Ávila! To those who didn’t make it this time, we encourage them to apply next year.
The training school will be held at UNED, Ávila, Spain in 4-8 October.
– The Ávila campus was chosen because it boasts facilities that suit the Training School’s objectives. We believe this event will be a great opportunity not only to gain scientific knowledge but also to visit some of Ávila’s must-see sights, adds the local organizer team from UNED.
