Working Group 5 (WG5) face-to-face workshop was held this year on 11 July at the Faculty of Informatics and Management of the University of Hradec Kralove in the Czech Republic.
Altogether seven active WG 5 members participated in this workshop during which they had a chance to be involved in joint research activities, revamp their chapter for the upcoming LITHME book publication on Foreign language learning and teaching in the human-machine era by incorporating all the reviewers´ comments, as well as discussing additional references that would reflect the content of the individual chapters in more detail. Moreover, they also suggested future directions of cooperation through participating in joint projects, such as Cooperation partnerships in higher education (KA2) or bilateral initiatives.
In addition, they also explored the school premises, talked to the university management representative Professor Hana Mohelska – a Vice Dean for Research and Science Activities about the possibility of post-doctoral studies, ERASMUS representatives at the faculty in order to promote mutual mobilities of both the teachers and students and eventually enjoyed a guided walk around the city, including climbing 226 steps at the White Tower.
